How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Actbackground Plumbing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens next. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Raise

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Actbackground Plumbing
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a plumber we connected you with

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Plumbers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, prices, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work done in your home, the usual first step is to take it up with the plumber directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest. A provider who repeatedly falls short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Actbackground Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or decide things on a provider's behalf.

How to Send a Complaint

Email contact@actbackground.property and include:

  • Your name and a way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

What Happens After You Write

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. We will then look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

You can reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with the plumbing work itself, your state or local plumbing licensing board may be able to help.
